Interviews
Media Features & News Mentions
Over the years, I've been invited to share what I know beyond direct client work—on television programs across the Middle East and North Africa, in business publications, and through conversations with media professionals who were documenting the region's digital evolution.
These weren't promotional appearances. They were opportunities to teach, to explain how technology and creativity intersect, and to help audiences understand emerging tools and approaches during pivotal moments in the web's development.
What follows is a record of those conversations—where they happened, what we discussed, and why they mattered at the time.

Technology & Innovation
"Click" — Abu Dhabi TV (2001)
Host: Toufic Gebran
Topic: Best Website in the Middle East Award & Digital Innovation
In 2001, I was featured on "Click," the first Arabic-language technology program in the region, produced and hosted by Toufic Gebran—a respected Lebanese media expert and member of the USEK Board of Trustees.
The show awarded Lebanon Links and Fanoos.com Best Website in the Middle East, recognizing not just technical execution but cultural impact. These platforms were helping people across the region discover and trust the web during a moment when the digital landscape was still unfamiliar to most.
The conversation focused on what it took to build accessible, reliable digital platforms in an era before frameworks and templates—when every decision required solving problems from first principles. Toufic's questions pushed beyond surface-level tech talk into what made digital experiences genuinely useful for Arabic-speaking audiences.
Technology Program — Alhurra TV (2004)
Host: Toufic Gebran
Topic: Photography as Technology-Enabled Medium
Three years after our first conversation, I reconnected with Toufic Gebran on Alhurra TV, the U.S.-funded Arabic-language network reaching millions across the Middle East and North Africa.
By 2004, my work had evolved to include both web development and photography. This interview explored the intersection—how digital tools were transforming photography from a purely analog craft into something hybrid, where technical capability and creative vision worked together in new ways.
We discussed how photographers were adapting to digital workflows, what that meant for authenticity and craft, and how technology could augment rather than replace human creativity. It was a full-circle moment, connecting my work in technology and visual storytelling in ways that felt natural rather than forced.
Photography & Creative Work
Al Jadeed TV (New TV) — Morning Program (2004)
Topic: Capturing Real Family Moments
Al Jadeed TV's popular morning program, hosted by Lama Kassem (also known as Lama Qasim), invited me to share practical insights about family photography—what makes sessions feel natural, how to work with children who aren't natural performers, why patience matters more than any camera setting, and how to create an environment where real moments happen instead of forcing them. The conversation covered the difference between posed portraits and genuine family interaction, the role parents play in helping sessions succeed, and why outdoor environments often produce more authentic results than formal studio setups.
Oyoun Beirut - Orbit Satellite Television and Radio Network (2005)
Topic: Photography as Craft and Connection
On Orbit TV's "AlYaoum" (later rebranded under OSN News, part of the Orbit Showtime Network serving the Middle East and North Africa), hosted by Diana Rizk, I discussed the balance between technical precision and human connection in photography.
The conversation explored how the craft side—lighting, composition, equipment—always serves the human side: making people feel comfortable, capturing genuine expressions, creating images families actually want to revisit.
Télé Liban — Lebanon's National Broadcaster (2003)
Topic: Baby & Family Photography Approach
Télé Liban, Lebanon's official national television station, invited me to discuss my approach to baby and family photography—specifically how understanding child behavior and psychology creates space for authentic moments rather than forced poses.
The conversation explored why technical camera skills alone aren't enough, and how creating comfort and trust with families produces images that feel genuine rather than staged.
Hiya TV — Women-Focused Satellite Network (2004)
Topic: Family Photography Philosophy
Hiya TV, a regional women-focused satellite channel with reach across the Middle East, featured my work with families and children. The interview centered on the intersection of psychology and photography—how understanding what makes children comfortable directly shapes the quality and authenticity of the final images.
Print & Editorial Coverage
"Al Idari" Business Magazine (1999)
Topic: eCommerce in the Middle East — Lebanon Links, Lebanon Shop & Fanoos
Featured in "Al Idari," a widely-read business magazine across the Middle East, discussing the early challenges and opportunities of building eCommerce infrastructure in the region.
The article explored how Lebanon Shop was selling and shipping products internationally at a time when online shopping was still unfamiliar to most Arabic-speaking audiences, and what it took to build trust in digital transactions before the systems we take for granted today existed.
