Women Photography

Seen clearly. Captured honestly. Nothing manufactured.

The best portraits aren't the most flattering—they're the most honest. The ones where something real comes through and you recognize yourself in the image rather than a polished version of who you thought you should be.

I work outdoors in natural settings across Orange County—beaches, parks, open environments—keeping sessions calm, unhurried, and focused on capturing who you actually are rather than directing a performance.

Sessions take place outdoors at parks, beaches, and natural environments across Orange County—Newport Beach, Newport Back Bay, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and surrounding areas. Bring outfits that reflect different aspects of who you are, and we'll work with natural light to find the settings that suit each look.

Common Questions

Where do sessions take place?

Outdoors across Orange County—Newport Beach, Newport Back Bay, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and surrounding areas. Location is chosen based on the look and atmosphere you're going for.

Do you travel to our location?

Yes. I travel to homes and locations within Orange County. If you're outside that area, get in touch and we can discuss options.

What should I wear?

Bring options that reflect different sides of who you are—professional, casual, creative. Solid colors and simple patterns tend to photograph well. Avoid overly busy prints or logos that pull attention from the subject. Comfort matters—how you feel in what you're wearing shows in the photos.

What are these images typically used for?

Professional headshots, personal brand websites, LinkedIn profiles, speaker bios, press features, social media, and personal use. Let me know at booking how you plan to use them so the session is planned accordingly.

I'm not comfortable being photographed. How do you handle that?

Most people feel this way before a session. Sessions are relaxed, conversational, and completely unrushed. The goal is to help you feel comfortable enough that the camera stops feeling like something to perform for—and that's when the best images happen.

Can I bring a friend or partner to the session?

Yes. Having someone familiar nearby can help with comfort, especially at the start. Just let me know at booking so expectations are clear.

How will I receive the final images?

Edited images are delivered digitally in high resolution. Delivery timeline and number of images are discussed at booking based on session scope and intended use.

How long does a session last?

Typically one to one and a half hours—enough time for different locations, outfit changes, and a relaxed pace without feeling rushed.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as possible—especially for newborn sessions where timing around the birth date matters. A few weeks' notice is ideal, though I'll always try to accommodate when I can.
