Billing information when services are engaged — processed securely through third-party payment processors. Photography session details including location preferences, subject information, and session requirements. Communications sent via email, contact forms, or any other channel.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

2.3 Information From Tools & Utilities

When you use any free tool on the Tools & Utilities section of this site — including the UTM Builder, Contrast Checker, Word Count tool, Color Generators, and others — the text or values you enter are processed locally in your browser where technically possible and are not stored on Dany.Net servers unless explicitly stated on the tool page. No account or login is required to use these tools.

2.4 Photography Session Information

For photography clients, additional information may be collected including session location, subjects to be photographed, any special requirements or circumstances communicated prior to or during the session, and image delivery preferences. Photographs produced during sessions are delivered to clients and retained by Dany.Net for portfolio use unless a specific written agreement states otherwise — see Section 8 for photography-specific details.

2.5 Plugin and Integration Data

If you use any WordPress plugin developed by Dany.Net — including the WordPress to HubSpot and SendFox Sync Plugin or the Contract Delivery and Signature Plugin — data handling occurs within your own WordPress environment. Dany.Net does not collect, access, or store the data processed through these plugins on your site. Data flows are determined by your own configuration and the third-party platforms you connect.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

5.1 What Cookies Are Used

This website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — for the following purposes:

Essential cookies — Required for basic site functionality including contact form submission, security tokens, and session management. These cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality. Analytics cookies — Used to understand visitor behavior through Google Analytics 4. These collect anonymized data about pages visited, time on site, traffic sources, and device type. Preference cookies — Store display preferences and settings to improve your experience on return visits. Third-party cookies — Set by embedded services including Google Analytics, YouTube embeds, Vimeo embeds, and any other integrated platform. These are subject to the respective platform’s privacy policy.

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies — including analytics and preference cookies — typically last between 30 days and 2 years depending on their function. Comment cookies, if applicable, last for one year. Login session cookies last for two days or two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected.

5.3 Managing Cookies

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or receive notifications about cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use any feature of this site.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Dany.Net works with and integrates the following categories of third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are used to analyze website traffic. Data is anonymized and aggregated. Google’s privacy policy applies to data processed through these services. Email and CRM — HubSpot is used for contact management and CRM. SendFox is used for email communications. Data submitted through contact forms may flow into these systems. Cloud storage and delivery — Files, deliverables, and project assets may be stored or shared through secure cloud platforms including Google Drive and similar services. Cloudflare — This website uses Cloudflare for DNS, performance optimization, and security. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses and request data as part of its service. Digital signature — The contract delivery system uses integrated PHP signature libraries within WordPress. Signed documents are stored within the client’s WordPress environment. Video embedding — Videos embedded from YouTube and Vimeo are subject to those platforms’ respective cookie and tracking policies when played.

7. Data Retention

Dany.Net retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable law:

Client project data — Retained for a minimum of 5 years following project completion for legal and reference purposes. Financial records — Retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations. Contact and inquiry data — Retained for 2 years from the date of last contact if no service engagement follows. Analytics data — Aggregated and anonymized — retained indefinitely. Individual session data subject to Google Analytics retention settings, typically 14 months. Photography files — Original session files retained for a minimum of 1 year following delivery. Delivered images may be retained in portfolio archives indefinitely unless a written removal request is made.

8. Photography-Specific Privacy Considerations

Photography sessions involve the capture and delivery of images of real people. The following applies specifically to photography clients and subjects:

Consent for portfolio use — Dany.Net may use session images in the portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials unless a written agreement explicitly restricts this. If you do not wish your images to be used in this way, this must be communicated in writing before or at the time of the session. Minor subjects — Sessions involving minors require explicit written consent from a parent or legal guardian for both the session and any portfolio or marketing use of resulting images. Image delivery and storage — Delivered images are provided in high resolution via digital delivery. Original files are retained for a defined period as noted above. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups of delivered images. AI training use — For clients who engage the AI Advantage service, session images used for AI training are handled under a separate written agreement that specifies data use, ownership, and restrictions explicitly. No photography session images are used for AI training without explicit written consent.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access — Request a copy of the personal information Dany.Net holds about you. Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. Deletion — Request deletion of your personal information subject to legal retention requirements. Objection — Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. Portability — Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format where technically feasible. Withdrawal of consent — Withdraw consent for any processing activity that depends on consent, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact Dany.Net directly using the contact information in Section 12. Requests will be acknowledged within 5 business days and fulfilled within 30 days where possible.

10. Data Security

Dany.Net takes reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Measures in place include:

Access controls limiting who can access client data and project files. Secure password practices and two-factor authentication on all accounts holding client data. Regular backups with controlled access to backup systems.

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. While Dany.Net takes these measures seriously, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, you will be notified as required by applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

This website and its services are not directed at children under the age of 13. Dany.Net does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. Photography sessions involving minor subjects are conducted only with explicit written parental or guardian consent as noted in Section 8.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in services offered, applicable law, or data handling practices. When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this policy will be updated and a notice will be posted on the website.
